Welcome
We want you to have a wonderful, peaceful stay at Nightingale Lodge. Please read these house rules before you arrive and share them with everyone in your party.
Arrival and departure
- Check-in from 4:00 PM
- Check-out by 10:00 AM
- Please let us know if you expect to arrive significantly later than planned
- Return keys as instructed at check-out
Guests and occupancy
- Only registered guests may stay overnight
- Do not exceed the maximum number of guests on your booking
- No parties, events, or large gatherings
- Please be considerate of neighbours — this is a quiet countryside setting
Smoking and pets
- Smoking is not permitted inside the property
- If you smoke outside, please dispose of cigarette ends safely
- Pets are not permitted unless agreed in writing before your stay
Property care
- Treat the property, furniture, and equipment with care
- Report any damage, breakages, or maintenance issues as soon as possible
- Do not move furniture or remove items from the property
- Switch off lights and close windows when leaving the property
- Follow instructions for appliances, heating, and hot water
Parking
Private off-road parking is provided for one vehicle. Please park only in the designated area.
Rubbish and recycling
Please leave the property tidy. Sort recycling and general waste as directed in the property and take any excess rubbish with you if bins are full.
Safety
- Familiarise yourself with fire exits and safety equipment on arrival
- Do not block fire exits or remove smoke alarms
- Children must be supervised at all times, especially near water, steps, or outdoor areas

Wi‑Fi and utilities
Wi‑Fi details are provided in the property. Please use utilities responsibly. Excessive or unreasonable consumption may be charged.
Breach of rules
Failure to comply with these rules may result in termination of your stay without refund, and you may be charged for damage, additional cleaning, or other costs incurred.
